International Day of music
Concert „Dances of the world”
Next educational concert for children and teenagers will be special for two reasons. First, we will see as a solist Wojciech Mrożek with the Elbląg Chamber Orchestra – great polish clarinettist, conductor and composer, called by the media „the wizard of clarinet”. He arranged folk dances of various countries to show spectator something new and interesting. Listeners and musicians specially likes energetics and melody contained in them.
Second, concert will start at October 1st in day, which in 1975 UNESCO made as the International Day of Music at the request of Yehudi Menuhin. Since then this day is very important for musicians all of the world and pompously celebrated.
